Looking Back at Dudley

£13.50

With a wonderful collection of  old film we take a fascinating look back at life in Dudley from the 1930’s to the 1960’s.

The Queen’s visit to Dudley in 1957 and the opening of the Churchill Shopping Precinct in 1969 are just two of the events shown in the DVD.

We also look back at the days when trams and trolley buses rattled through the streets, the opening of Birmingham New Road by the Prince of Wales in 1927, the beginnings of the Priory Estate, and a remarkable behind the scenes look at one of the area’s traditional industries in the 1950s.

Running time 50 minutes approximately.
