Andover The Way We Were

£13.50

This fascinating journey through time combines old photos, cine film, modern footage, and stories from the archives of the Hampshire Chronicle and the Andover Advertiser to present a nostalgic look back at bygone Andover.

Covering the period from the 1830s to the 1960s, it shows the changes that have taken place in that period and recalls significant events in the town’s past such as, the coming of the railway, the riots of 1830 and 1914, and the dramatic impact of two world wars on the town.

Andover The Way We Were is produced exclusively for the Andover Advertiser and is narrated by award winning actor, Howard Ellison. The running time is approximately 50 minutes.
